Are you ready to eat?
Let’s go on a world food tour! Whatever you’re in the mood for, from meat-lovers to vegans, from Europe to Asia to North and South America, these recipes are for everyone who loves to eat delicious, simple food!
My goal is to showcase delicious dishes that I’ve made, which I find are (relatively) easy to make! Some recipes require more time, and effort, while others are done within 30 minutes, but, I promise, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve made!
Unlike other sites, I won’t be detailing all of my thoughts and feelings about each recipe because, let’s be real, in the end, you just want to figure out how to make the dish and what you need to buy at the grocery store. I cut right to the chase and tell you the ingredients you’ll need and show you what the final dish will look like!
As a side note, I’m a big fan of onions, garlic, ginger, and everything spicy, so my recipes might be somewhat heavy with these ingredients, or at least more so than some people :) Be aware of this and adjust these ingredients to your own preferences because you’re the one who will be doing the eating! Enjoy!

Sesame Crusted Ginger Banana Bread with Dark Chocolate Chips
Put a fun twist on a classic banana bread by adding a crust of sesame seeds on the outside, and ginger and dark chocolate chips on the inside! For even more decadence, whip together an indulgent tahini maple syrup spread that pairs wonderfully with the banana bread. It’s sure to be a crowd pleaser!
Lamb Rogan Josh with Cilantro Rice
I love making curries! With their beautiful spices and decadent sauces, it’s always a good time to make one! And this curry is no different: a deliciously aromatic lamb curry where the tender meat swims in a creamy tomato curry sauce that is bursting with flavor! Pair that with a wonderfully fresh cilantro rice and you’re in for a real treat!
Charoset
Charoset is an essential part of the Passover Seder. A chunky paste made of fruit and nuts, its color and texture are meant to recall mortar. It’s sweet, earthy-fresh flavor and texture pairs perfectly with matzah or crispy crackers!
German Lebkuchen
Lebkuchen are THE German cookie at Christmas time! From local bakeries, to Christmas markets, to mass produced varieties at every grocery store, Lebkuchen are everywhere during Christmas. And for good reason, they are absolutely delicious! They are absolutely a staple in my household! Lebkuchen also come in all shapes, sizes, and toppings, so while I prefer the chocolate ones, finding ones with a simple icing glaze or no glaze at all are also very common, so feel free to experiment a bit!
Spiced Blood Orange Shrub
With citrus season coinciding so perfectly with the holiday season, it’s a great time of year to mix up a drink celebrating both! Ditch the navel oranges for some blood oranges and mix in some cinnamon and spice and everything nice!
Red-Wine Poached Pears
These poached pears are not only easy to make, but exquisitely decadent and truly elegant, that are sure to impress everyone you make them for! And who doesn’t enjoy a boozy dessert! The main thing you need for these is time, but they are also very easy to make ahead of time!
Homemade Apple Sauce
When life gives you apples, you make apple sauce! This, at least, has been my family’s mantra when discussing our apple tree. We’ll try apple fritters, cakes, pancakes, and even hard cider, but we always end up making tons of apple sauce that doesn’t last nearly as long as it should 😊
Baked Churros with Homemade Hot Chocolate
The irresistible taste of churros without deep-frying them! These come out warm, soft, and chewy, with a coating of cinnamon-sugar. Add a side of homemade hot chocolate and it’s almost as if your in Spain!
