Charoset
Serves 4-6
3 red apples, such as gala, quartered, deseeded, and cut into small chunks
½ cup walnuts
½ cups raisins
½ cup red wine (I prefer dry wines)
2 teaspoons cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
Matzah or crackers, for serving
In a food processor, add the apples, walnuts, raisins, red wine, cinnamon, and salt. Pulse until the apples have been chopped up and you are left with a chunky mixture. It’s not supposed to be saucy or pureed.
Serve with and on matzah or crackers.
