Let’s go on a world food tour! Whatever you’re in the mood for, from meat-lovers to vegans, from Europe to Asia to North and South America, these recipes are for everyone who loves to eat delicious, simple food!
My goal is to showcase delicious dishes that I’ve made, which I find are (relatively) easy to make! Some recipes require more time, and effort, while others are done within 30 minutes, but, I promise, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve made!
Unlike other sites, I won’t be detailing all of my thoughts and feelings about each recipe because, let’s be real, in the end, you just want to figure out how to make the dish and what you need to buy at the grocery store. I cut right to the chase and tell you the ingredients you’ll need and show you what the final dish will look like!
As a side note, I’m a big fan of onions, garlic, ginger, and everything spicy, so my recipes might be somewhat heavy with these ingredients, or at least more so than some people :) Be aware of this and adjust these ingredients to your own preferences because you’re the one who will be doing the eating! Brussels Sprouts with Pickled Carrots, Cilantro and Citrus Vinaigrette
This is a wonderful dish full of fall flavors (with a hint of summer for those of us who can’t let go 😊). Crispy charred Brussels sprouts creates a delicious base that’s topped with decadent pickled carrots, toasted walnuts, and mixed together with a drizzle of a citrus vinaigrette. Vegetarian and seasonal, this is perfect as a main dish or a side dish and will showcase those falls flavors beautifully!

A classic take-out dish that you can make at home! These crispy, crunchy pieces of breaded chicken, doused with a citrusy, tangy, with just the right amount of heat, orange sauce, this version has all the orangey goodness you wish your take-out had! Plus, by baking the chicken, this is a healthier option than the fried one you’d get from take-out. This is sure to be a dinnertime favorite!
Orange Rhubarb Coffee Cake
As winter turns to spring, the in-season fruits transitions from orange to rhubarb. Once you notice things starting to bloom, find some deliciously in-season orange and rhubarb to make this easy cake that combines the fruit of both seasons!
Saucy Orange Chicken
I’ve been making this amazing recipe for years and it’s one of my go-to cheat meals! To make the meal slightly healthier, the chicken is only lightly fried on the stove and you can adjust the amount of brown sugar you use (the full amount obviously tastes the best :) The fresh squeezed orange juice and the orange zest will make this the most orange-y orange chicken you’ve ever had!
