Are you ready to eat?
Let’s go on a world food tour! Whatever you’re in the mood for, from meat-lovers to vegans, from Europe to Asia to North and South America, these recipes are for everyone who loves to eat delicious, simple food!
My goal is to showcase delicious dishes that I’ve made, which I find are (relatively) easy to make! Some recipes require more time, and effort, while others are done within 30 minutes, but, I promise, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve made!
Unlike other sites, I won’t be detailing all of my thoughts and feelings about each recipe because, let’s be real, in the end, you just want to figure out how to make the dish and what you need to buy at the grocery store. I cut right to the chase and tell you the ingredients you’ll need and show you what the final dish will look like!
As a side note, I’m a big fan of onions, garlic, ginger, and everything spicy, so my recipes might be somewhat heavy with these ingredients, or at least more so than some people :) Be aware of this and adjust these ingredients to your own preferences because you’re the one who will be doing the eating! Enjoy!

When you want a a delicious broth, but don’t want a thick stew, this soup is perfect! BBQ Shredded Chicken Sandwiches
One thing I can’t resist is a savory barbecue sandwich. Slow-cooked meat, that’s been shredded, doused in a barbecue sauce, and layered between a bun is so simple, yet so enjoyable! Patience is key, but when you take that first bit, it’ll all be worth it!
Slow Cooker Chickpea, Pumpkin, and Red Lentil Curry
When it comes to simple, healthy, and tasty meals you can't go wrong with a vegetarian curry! The pumpkin adds a subtle hint of earthy, creaminess, but because it's not as sweet as a squash or sweet potato it blends perfectly with this curry! And a spritz of lime juice and cilantro adds a splash of freshness to round out this soothing dish!
Slow-Cooked Carnitas Tacos with Homemade Guacamole and Pico de Gallo
These might look like simple tacos, but there’s nothing simple about them! Pork shoulder that’s been slow cooked until tender enough to shred and then fried in its own juice to give it that signature crisp! All paired with a fresh homemade Pico de Gallo and topped with a creamy guacamole will show you just how quickly people can eat tacos because these will go fast!
Cola-Braised Birthday Short Ribs
This is a fun and easy meal, that looks and tastes fancier than it is! Perfect for a family celebration! Using cola for both sweetness and a bit of flavor makes this dish taste so good! But don’t be alarmed, your short ribs won’t taste like cola. So who’s ready to dig into some fall-off-the-bone short ribs on a cooler fall evening!
Filipino Chicken Adobo
This may seem like another chicken and rice dish, but it’s much more than that! Its uniquely Filipino flavor blends sweet with spicy, warm with tangy to create a one-of-a-kind dish and a step above the other chicken and rice dishes you know. And the best part is, most of the cooking occurs when the pot is in the oven, giving you time to take care of other things while dinner is slowly cooking!
Molasses Baked Beans
Nothing says comfort food like some homemade baked beans slow cooked with bacon and molasses! Whether for dinner tonight, dinner for the week, or for a party, these baked beans will definitely leave everyone smiling!
