Are you ready to eat?
Let’s go on a world food tour! Whatever you’re in the mood for, from meat-lovers to vegans, from Europe to Asia to North and South America, these recipes are for everyone who loves to eat delicious, simple food!
My goal is to showcase delicious dishes that I’ve made, which I find are (relatively) easy to make! Some recipes require more time, and effort, while others are done within 30 minutes, but, I promise, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve made!
Unlike other sites, I won’t be detailing all of my thoughts and feelings about each recipe because, let’s be real, in the end, you just want to figure out how to make the dish and what you need to buy at the grocery store. I cut right to the chase and tell you the ingredients you’ll need and show you what the final dish will look like!
As a side note, I’m a big fan of onions, garlic, ginger, and everything spicy, so my recipes might be somewhat heavy with these ingredients, or at least more so than some people :) Be aware of this and adjust these ingredients to your own preferences because you’re the one who will be doing the eating! Enjoy!

This is one of those recipes that reminds me of home and my mom’s baking. A light, fluffy yeasted braided sweet bread with a lemon-sugar glaze on top, it’s both impressive to present and easier to make than you might think! And it’s so good, you can eat it plain or add some butter, or with your favorite spread, to make the perfect slice!

Sweet Potato Toast
Sweet potato toast? Yes, please! A healthy way to start the day and a fun twist to a classic! Lose the bread and instead pop a few sweet potato slices in the toaster. Top them off with your favorite breakfast toppings: yogurts, berries, and honey; peanut butter and banana; or recreate a delectable avocado toast! Breakfast can’t come soon enough!
Vegan German Spaetzle
Spaetzle are classic German, irregular-shaped noodles that are normally made with eggs, so it can be tough for vegans who miss out on this delicious staple! This recipe is here to save the day! The taste and texture of this vegan version is almost identical to those made with eggs. Honestly, if you didn’t know these were vegan Spaetzle, you couldn’t tell the difference, they are that good!
Thai Sweet Potatoes with Crispy Chickpeas
Filling a well in the center of a baked, soft sweet potato with crispy chickpeas, that have been perfectly seasoned, and drizzled with a tantalizing tahini sauce, that’s slightly sweet, yet savory, with a hint of spiciness, and garnished with fresh cilantro and green onions is the start to a wonderful meal! Between delicious bites, you’ll almost forget that this meal is entirely vegan and, with minimal amounts of maple syrup and oil, it’s also incredibly healthy and nutritious!
Slow Cooker Chickpea, Pumpkin, and Red Lentil Curry
When it comes to simple, healthy, and tasty meals you can't go wrong with a vegetarian curry! And a spritz of lime juice and cilantro adds a splash of freshness to round out this soothing dish!
Carrot and Zucchini Fritters with Creamy Herb Sauce
While nothing beats a potato fritter, a fun variation that I’ve found is to use carrots and zucchini instead. The veggies are grated just like a potato fritter, so the texture is the same. But these are so much more flavorful! And drizzle a delicious herb sauce over top because what’s a fritter without a great sauce to go with it!
Green Beans and Mushrooms with Crispy Shallots
Plenty of butter goes into sautéing these green beans and mushrooms, and it’s so worth it! Irresistible veggies that are made even better by adding crispy shallots and salty Parmesan cheese. It’s a dish that everyone can agree on!
