Let’s go on a world food tour! Whatever you’re in the mood for, from meat-lovers to vegans, from Europe to Asia to North and South America, these recipes are for everyone who loves to eat delicious, simple food!
My goal is to showcase delicious dishes that I’ve made, which I find are (relatively) easy to make! Some recipes require more time, and effort, while others are done within 30 minutes, but, I promise, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve made!
Unlike other sites, I won’t be detailing all of my thoughts and feelings about each recipe because, let’s be real, in the end, you just want to figure out how to make the dish and what you need to buy at the grocery store. I cut right to the chase and tell you the ingredients you’ll need and show you what the final dish will look like!
As a side note, I’m a big fan of onions, garlic, ginger, and everything spicy, so my recipes might be somewhat heavy with these ingredients, or at least more so than some people :) Be aware of this and adjust these ingredients to your own preferences because you’re the one who will be doing the eating! Asian-Style Kohlrabi Salad
A unique blend of fresh veggies and a tangy, sweet-spicy dressing is what makes this side salad the perfect pairing to a meal. Nothing beats the wonderful smells of fragrant Thai chili, garlic, and Thai basil stir frying in a wok! So fresh and pungent, it’ll make you hungry just thinking about the meal to come. Thankfully, stir frying doesn’t take very long so you’ll be chowing down in no time!
Lamb Curry Stir Fry
Curry shines through in this fun spin on a “typical” stir fry! You’ll be familiar with the bell peppers, carrots, peas, and eggs from the stir fry’s you’re used to making, but add in lamb and curry powder to make this dish truly something special. If you like stir fry’s, you’ll love this version!
Asian-Inspired Sesame Chicken Pasta Salad
A great go-to recipe that I’ve been making for years! Super versatile because you can eat it both warm or cold, eat it fresh or make it ahead of time, eat it as a main dish or as a side, and easily allow yourself to substitute ingredients and additions based on your own preferences! I have never not enjoyed eating this, as have those who I’ve served it to!
Asian-Inspired Pearled Couscous Salad
I love when dishes are made with ingredients that are all a similar size, it makes for a very pleasing mouthfeel. So I thought using pearled couscous as a base would be great to make an Asian-inspired salad! This salad is heaped with fresh ingredients and lots of veggies, topped with a sauce that's a beautiful combination of sweet, salty, spicy, vinegary, and umami notes! It's an easy dish that's bursting with flavor!
Sweet and Sour Chicken Meatballs
There’s no roundabout way of saying this, these meatballs are amazing! Filled with chicken, carrots, and onions, these hefty meatballs are fantastic on their own. But spoon some of the deliciously sticky sauce, that’s perfectly balanced between sweet and sour, over the meatballs and you won’t be able to help yourself from going back for seconds!
Thai Chicken Curry (Chicken Khao Soi)
If you’re out of ideas when it comes to soup, look no further! This Thai soup is bursting with flavor: a soothing, warm base of coconut milk and chicken broth, fresh notes from cilantro, onions, and bean sprouts, paired with spiciness from the from the chiles. Slurp it all up with egg noodles and chicken, for good measure. This is a soup everyone is sure to love!
Spicy Korean Stir Fried Squid
A truly unique dish for those adventurous enough to try! If you like squid/calamari and spiciness, this dish is for you! And if you can find whole squid, the process of gutting and cleaning the squid makes this dish all the more memorable. The veggies add the classic stir-fry elements which is then topped with a spicy, sweet, and beautifully fragrant paste!
Thai Beef Salad with Homemade Crisps
This a both a delicious salad and a fun way to use up leftover dumpling wrappers! The salad is everything you want from a Thai salad: fresh flavors, with a citrus tang, and a bright spiciness! Topped with a marinated steak and homemade crisps, using leftover dumping wrappers (that may not make it to the salad because they’re so addicting to snack on!), this salad is sure to be a big hit!
Taiwanese (Leftover-) Turkey with Rice
What to do with all of that leftover turkey from Thanksgiving? With so many recipes out there, try mixing it up with this fun Taiwanese dish! With only a few ingredients (and minimal work, so you’re not in the kitchen all day again!), you transfer your leftovers into another delicious meal!
Egg Roll In a Bowl
While nothing compares to biting into a crispy, crunchy egg roll, this is a fun twist to that meal! A good helping of veggies packed with a grilled chicken protein punch make this a healthier, yet equally as delicious, “egg roll” that you’ll keep coming back for!
Laotian Lamb Larb
Larb is considered the national dish of Laos, and is widely enjoyed throughout Asia! Larb can be made using any various forms of protein, but for this version, I decided to use lamb because of its unique flavor. For anyone who enjoys meals that are both spicy and fresh, this is perfect for you! Have fun with the meal and play around with it, whether you eat it as a lettuce wrap or if you mix everything together to make more a bowl!
Vietnamese Caramel Chicken
A deliciously sweet and spicy Vietnamese chicken dish that checks all of the boxes for a great chicken and rice dish! And the combination of coconut water, fish sauce, and lemongrass gives this dish that unique, bright flavor that’s hard to beat. And feel free to add a few more chilies to your plate if you’re open for that extra kick!
Chinese Crispy Chili Beef
Chinese 5 Spice powder is made up of cinnamon, fennel seeds, star anise, Sichuan peppercorn and cloves and is a very common ingredient in a lot of Chinese cooking. By frying the beef in cornstarch and 5 Spice powder, it gives this dish that uniquely Chinese flavor. Add some ginger and green onions, for freshness, and a good amount of red chilis, for some heat, and you’ve got yourself a very tasty dinner!
Korean Bo Ssam Wraps with Spicy Korean Coleslaw
You really can’t beat a slow pork roast with a caramel crispy crust! Put a twist to your typical barbecue by making this delicious Korean barbecue. Dress it up however you want, but make sure you use the Ssam sauce! This is a meal everyone is sure to love!
Baked Asian Salmon Foil Packets with Sichuan Green Beans
This is a typical salmon and green beans, but with a twist! Baking the salmon in aluminum foil allows it to steam up, allowing the salmon to retain moisture and flavor, not to mention the easiest cleanup ever! Spicy up your green beans with some Sichuan peppercorns and mushrooms, and you’ve got yourself a delicious, healthy meal!
Korean Bulgogi with Carrots and Green Onions
A Korean staple that’s easy to make and delicious to eat! Thinly sliced, tender meat with bright, fresh, spicy flavors that’s sure to be a big hit with everyone! Do the prep ahead of time, leaving you only with the cooking and the eating!

As you may have noticed, I’m big into bowls! It’s a great way to combine a marinated protein with any of your favorite toppings you’ve got at home. This grilled chicken bowl is no different! A yummy marinaded grilled chicken, over rice, paired with fresh veggies, like red cabbage, avocados, and carrots, makes for great meal!
