Let’s go on a world food tour! Whatever you’re in the mood for, from meat-lovers to vegans, from Europe to Asia to North and South America, these recipes are for everyone who loves to eat delicious, simple food!
My goal is to showcase delicious dishes that I’ve made, which I find are (relatively) easy to make! Some recipes require more time, and effort, while others are done within 30 minutes, but, I promise, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve made!
Unlike other sites, I won’t be detailing all of my thoughts and feelings about each recipe because, let’s be real, in the end, you just want to figure out how to make the dish and what you need to buy at the grocery store. I cut right to the chase and tell you the ingredients you’ll need and show you what the final dish will look like!
As a side note, I’m a big fan of onions, garlic, ginger, and everything spicy, so my recipes might be somewhat heavy with these ingredients, or at least more so than some people :) Be aware of this and adjust these ingredients to your own preferences because you’re the one who will be doing the eating! I love making curries! With their beautiful spices and decadent sauces, it’s always a good time to make one! And this curry is no different: a deliciously aromatic lamb curry where the tender meat swims in a creamy tomato curry sauce that is bursting with flavor! Simon’s Hearty Beef Chili
I’ve always been a big fan of corn in my chili. I know it’s not the most traditional, but those small, sweet crunches bites pair perfectly with the rest of the chili. Warming spices, slow-cooked with hearty beef, two types of beans, and tomatoes and you’re left with one of my favorite belly-filling meals. Make a big pot and enjoy it over a few days!

Goi Tom (Vietnamese Shrimp and Veggie Salad)
This is a Vietnamese salad that is absolutely delicious! The bright flavors of the fresh veggies, the pickled, vinegary notes from the pickled veggies, subtle hints of seafood from the shrimp, all topped with a sweet/spicy sauce that blends everything superbly and leaves your lips with a warming, numbness from the chilies! Incredibly fresh and healthy, so this checks all of the boxes!
Asian-Inspired Sesame Chicken Pasta Salad
A great go-to recipe that I’ve been making for years! Super versatile because you can eat it both warm or cold, eat it fresh or make it ahead of time, eat it as a main dish or as a side, and easily allow yourself to substitute ingredients and additions based on your own preferences! I have never not enjoyed eating this, as have those who I’ve served it to!
Thai-Inspired Salad with Spicy Peanut Dressing
A salad that is inspired by the beautiful combination of fresh ingredients paired with something spicy that is so often found in Thai cooking.
