Let’s go on a world food tour! Whatever you’re in the mood for, from meat-lovers to vegans, from Europe to Asia to North and South America, these recipes are for everyone who loves to eat delicious, simple food!
My goal is to showcase delicious dishes that I’ve made, which I find are (relatively) easy to make! Some recipes require more time, and effort, while others are done within 30 minutes, but, I promise, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve made!
Unlike other sites, I won’t be detailing all of my thoughts and feelings about each recipe because, let’s be real, in the end, you just want to figure out how to make the dish and what you need to buy at the grocery store. I cut right to the chase and tell you the ingredients you’ll need and show you what the final dish will look like!
As a side note, I’m a big fan of onions, garlic, ginger, and everything spicy, so my recipes might be somewhat heavy with these ingredients, or at least more so than some people :) Be aware of this and adjust these ingredients to your own preferences because you’re the one who will be doing the eating! Pulled pork sandwiches are so delicious, it’s always good to make a lot! Whether you use all the shredded pork right away or save some for later, this stove-top recipe makes that super easy. Toss the pulled pork with your favorite BBQ sauce and top each sandwich with a homemade coleslaw and you’re about to be eating good!
Aloo Kathi Roll
These wraps are a perfect weekend meal! It takes time to make the chapati wraps, but homemade always tastes best! Top that with a delicious green coriander chutney, spiced potatoes, and a fresh veggie salad for a flavorful, totally vegetarian meal!
Summer Veggie Medley Pasta
This is the perfect summer meal for one when dinner needs to happen quickly, but you want something fresh and healthy! Blend a handful of veggies with parmesan cheese and fresh basil for a flavorful summer sauce that works perfectly with your favorite noodles!
Thai Chicken Soup
When you want a a delicious broth, but don’t want a thick stew, this soup is perfect! The creamy coconut milk that permeates the dish allows the veggies to soften and blend perfectly with the Thai curry paste. A squeeze of lime finishes off the curry for that subtle hint of freshness that’ll have you reaching for a second bowl!
Carrot Cake with Roasted Carrots and Maple Cream Cheese Frosting
I absolutely love carrot cakes! And this one stands out from the rest because you first roast some of the carrots, giving the cake a more full-bodied, caramelized, and slightly savory flavor. By adding maple syrup to the cream cheese frosting, it blends perfectly with the other flavors and adds that hint of warming sweetness! It’s a cake you won’t be able to resist going back for seconds!
Carrot and Zucchini Fritters with Creamy Herb Sauce
While nothing beats a potato fritter, a fun variation that I’ve found is to use carrots and zucchini instead. The veggies are grated just like a potato fritter, so the texture is the same. But these are so much more flavorful! And drizzle a delicious herb sauce over top because what’s a fritter without a great sauce to go with it!

This is a wonderful dish full of fall flavors (with a hint of summer for those of us who can’t let go 😊).
