Let’s go on a world food tour! Whatever you’re in the mood for, from meat-lovers to vegans, from Europe to Asia to North and South America, these recipes are for everyone who loves to eat delicious, simple food!
My goal is to showcase delicious dishes that I’ve made, which I find are (relatively) easy to make! Some recipes require more time, and effort, while others are done within 30 minutes, but, I promise, you’ll be pleased with what you’ve made!
Unlike other sites, I won’t be detailing all of my thoughts and feelings about each recipe because, let’s be real, in the end, you just want to figure out how to make the dish and what you need to buy at the grocery store. I cut right to the chase and tell you the ingredients you’ll need and show you what the final dish will look like!
As a side note, I’m a big fan of onions, garlic, ginger, and everything spicy, so my recipes might be somewhat heavy with these ingredients, or at least more so than some people :) Be aware of this and adjust these ingredients to your own preferences because you’re the one who will be doing the eating! Enjoy!

Simon’s Hearty Beef Chili
I’ve always been a big fan of corn in my chili. I know it’s not the most traditional, but those small, sweet crunches bites pair perfectly with the rest of the chili. Warming spices, slow-cooked with hearty beef, two types of beans, and tomatoes and you’re left with one of my favorite belly-filling meals. Make a big pot and enjoy it over a few days!
Tuna and Corn Noodle Salad
In this great seafood noodle salad, you get blend of salty, briny tuna and olives paired with earthy tomatoes and sweet corn. And because every good meal needs a crunchy element, we throw in some celery for good measure! It’s a simple, cheap, and healthy meal that doesn’t take long at all to make, so it’s perfect for a weeknight meal!

When it comes to light, healthy rice bowls, this recipe is a great go-to! As summer turns to fall and winter, nothing beats a hot bowl of chili to warm you right up!
Squid Masala Curry
For all of the seafood lovers that want to venture from the typical calamari dish, you’ve come to the right place with this squid curry! Beautifully seasoned with curry, cumin, mustard, coriander, chili, garlic, and ginger, the squid simmers in this lovely stew allowing all of those wonderful flavors to blend together. With spicy notes coming from the chilis and fresh notes coming from the mint and cilantro, this curry is sure to please anyone who is lucky enough to try some!
Avocado Tacos with Black Bean Pico de Gallo
For a basic, tasty, vegetarian taco, look no further! The creamy, decadent avocados provide a wonderful base for these tacos, which is amplified by the bright, fresh flavors of the pico de gallo. Add a drizzle of sriracha mayo over top to add a spicy kick to help round out the tacos . These are familiar taco ingredients that come together in a unique way and definitely satisfy that taco craving. Taco Tuesday can’t come soon enough!
